Susmita Dey

Susmita Dey currently serves as the Senior Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Strand Life Sciences, a position held since January 2025. In this role, Susmita oversees quality and regulatory compliance within the realms of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), while ensuring adherence to standards such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, ISO 15189, CAP, and CLIA. Since joining Strand Life Sciences in May 2013, Susmita has progressed through various leadership roles, including Associate Director of Quality Assurance, Senior Manager of Quality Assessment, and Manager of Quality Assessment, demonstrating a robust expertise in project management, Clinical Diagnostics, Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation, Good Practice (GxP), risk assessment, CAPA, and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
