Chris Barnes

Chris Barnes began their work experience as a Webmaster at ugaspirit.com from August 2008 to February 2012. Chris then worked as a Freelance Web Developer from December 2011 to February 2014, where they focused on front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, with occasional backend work using PHP, Ruby on Rails, Node, and MySQL. From February 2014 to April 2015, Chris worked as a Web Application Developer at COGDA Solutions, where they built core pieces of a customer-facing application using AngularJS and implemented E2E tests with Protractor. Chris then joined Honest Dollar in May 2015 and served as a Senior Web Developer until May 2016. There, they developed application architecture and logic for desktop and mobile web applications, implemented responsive design patterns, and conducted unit testing. Following their time at Honest Dollar, Chris worked at Goldman Sachs as an Associate from May 2016 to April 2018. Finally, in June 2018, Chris joined Strangeworks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they currently hold a role.
