Diego Roel

Diego R. is the Founder and CEO of STRAP Technologies, Inc., an assistive technology startup focused on enhancing independence for visually impaired individuals, a role held since March 2018. Diego possesses substantial teaching experience, having instructed entrepreneurship courses at Collective Academy for both master's and undergraduate students in 2021 and 2022. In addition, Diego was an Entrepreneur in Residence at MassChallenge during the Summer batch of 2020 and has received recognition as a Global Winner from the US China Innovation Alliance and a Global Finalist in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Prior to these roles, Diego taught robotics, electronics, and programming to students of various age groups at Trex_Education from 2012 to 2018. Diego holds a Master's degree in Business & Technology from Collective Academy, completed between 2019 and 2020.
