Tim Carty

Tim Carty is an experienced structural engineer with extensive expertise in various engineering roles. Currently a Senior Structural Engineer at Strata-G, LLC since March 2019 and a Senior Structural Engineer at Soldier Creek Engineering since September 2015, Tim primarily supports the gaseous diffusion and DUF6 facilities in Paducah, KY, and Piketon, OH. Tim has held the position of Lead Structural Engineer at Tetra Tech, Inc. since September 2013 and previously served as Lead Structural Engineer at EnergySolutions from August 2011 to September 2013, contributing to the K-25 D&D Project. Tim's career began in November 1981 at Bechtel Jacobs LLC, where Tim worked as Lead Structural Engineer for over 29 years, overseeing various structural projects and teams. Tim started in structural engineering at Tetra Tech, Inc. from June 1999 to November 2008. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration from Tennessee Technological University, earned between 1978 and 1983.
