Louis Penta

Louis joined the StrataDx team in 2010 as a member of the Accessioning department. He then transitioned to the Grossing department and soon after that began serving as the lead grossing technician. Since becoming the department supervisor in April 2014, he has made a tremendous impact with his resourcefulness and positive attitude. In addition to his role as Grossing Supervisor, Louis also serves at the Laboratory Process Improvement Specialist. His responsibilities include overseeing daily workflow, staffing and overall performance of the grossing department, ensuring superior quality, and maximizing employee potential and departmental growth.

Louis graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a major in Biology and a minor in Political Science. He also received a certificate in Laboratory Management from the Laboratory Management University, a joint venture of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and the American Pathology Foundation. Recently, Louis received the ASCP’s Diplomate in Laboratory Management certification.
