David Phan

David Phan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started their career in the US Navy as an ET2 (SS) Electronic Technician, where they gained experience in installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting and repairing computer-based equipment, and conducting administrative functions.

David then worked at Carrier-1 Data Centers as a Software Developer, where they developed and maintained web-based applications, collaborated with business and technical teams, and utilized SQL to generate reports. David also briefly worked as an Operation Support Technician, leading a team and implementing effective escalation procedures.

David later joined McKesson Pharmaceutical as a Help Desk Coordinator, where they coordinated and led troubleshooting efforts, developed an internal software tool to automate tasks, and achieved significant time savings and improved team efficiency.

Most recently, they worked at Immersed Cyber Security Training as a Full Stack Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and built a survey landing page with React, developed optimized stored procedures with T-SQL, and utilized Git for version control.

Currently, David works as a Software Engineer at StrataPT. The details of their responsibilities and accomplishments in this role are not provided.

David Phan has a solid education history in the field of Computer Science. David first attended Dallas College from 2018 to 2020, where they received an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science. Following that, they enrolled at Lamar University in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In September 2017, they obtained the CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA. In May 2019, they further enhanced their credentials by earning the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification and the CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, both from CompTIA. Most recently, in August 2022, they completed the Google Data Analytics certification offered by Coursera in collaboration with Google.
