Tom Morris

Tom Morris currently serves as the Tranche 0 Deputy Mission Systems Engineer and Strategic Planning Lead at the Space Development Agency since September 2020. With a robust background in aerospace, Tom has been a Senior Space Systems Engineer at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. since November 2019, and a Space Systems Subject Matter Expert at Strategic Engineering Solutions since August 2020. Additionally, Tom has owned and operated Painted Bench Photography since January 2015, specializing in business headshots and portraits. From September 1999 to August 2019, Tom held leadership roles in the United States Air Force, including Chief of the Nonkinetic Effects Division and Chief of the Technology Maturation & Transition Branch. Tom's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Science & Technology Intelligence from National Intelligence University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, preceded by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
