Welcome to Strategy Lateral, where excellence in drilling operations is our core focus. Founded on a legacy of innovation and reliability, Strategy Lateral emerged from the successful foundation of Academy Drilling, which began operations in 2011. Reestablished as Strategy Lateral in 2021, we have solidified our position as a leading drilling contractor in the Permian Basin.

We specialize in a wide range of drilling services including presets, injections, re-entries, vertical, and shallow horizontal wells, reaching depths of up to 14,000 feet. Our transition from turnkey projects to daywork contracts highlights our adaptability and responsiveness to the ever-evolving demands of the industry.

At Strategy Lateral, we pride ourselves on our streamlined operations and minimal corporate bureaucracy, allowing us to offer competitive day rates and unparalleled operational flexibility. Safety is at the forefront of our operations, and our commitment to exceptional crew retention and customer satisfaction ensures superior performance on every project.

We are confident that our expertise and innovative approach will be valuable assets for your upcoming drilling initiatives. We look forward to the opportunity to discuss how Strategy Lateral can support and enhance your projects.
