Mark Pare

Mark Paré is a seasoned communications professional with significant experience in the media and public relations sectors. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Strathcona County since September 2022, Mark previously held the position of Director at Global TV Edmonton for nearly a decade, where leadership of a dynamic team led to a highly accurate and engaging newscast. Earlier roles include a Television Assistant at Global TV Edmonton, where responsibilities included liaising with on-air personnel and preparing studio equipment. Mark also served as a Communication Coordinator at Strathcona County, successfully managing the creation of campaigns focused on vaccination and mental health awareness with limited budgets. Mark holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Cultural Studies from Trent University, complemented by further education at MacEwan University.
