Andy Tyler has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Andy is currently working at Strathcona Resources Ltd. as a Senior Development Engineer since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) from July 2019 to February 2022 as an Exploitation Engineer for Jackfish 2.

Before joining CNRL, Andy worked at Devon Energy for several roles. From November 2015 to July 2019, they served as a Development Engineer for Jackfish 1, 2 & 3. Prior to that, from November 2011 to November 2015, they worked as an Exploitation Engineer for Lloyd Heavy Oil & End Lake Oil Sands. Additionally, from July 2009 to November 2011, they worked as a Production Engineer for Peace River Arch. Lastly, they started their career at Devon Energy in August 2006 as a Field Production Engineer for Fairview, AB.

Before their full-time roles, Andy also gained industry experience through an internship at Devon Energy from May 2004 to August 2005 as a Production Engineering Intern.

Andy Tyler attended the University of Saskatchewan from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering.
