Dan Eagle

Dan Eagle has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Dan is currently working at Strathcona Resources Ltd. as the Chief Inspector, a position they started in November 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Asset Integrity Advisor at the same company from September 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining Strathcona Resources Ltd., Dan worked at ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority, as a Field Inspector from May 2019 to September 2022.

Dan also has experience working at Caledonian Midstream Corp, where they held the positions of Steam Chief and Plant Foreman from March 2018 to May 2019.

Prior to that, Dan worked at Pengrowth Energy Corporation in various roles, including Steam Chief from an unknown start date to March 2018, Project Sponsor from January 2014 to an unknown end date in 2016, and Control Room Operator from January 2012 to an unknown end date in 2014.

Dan's earlier work experience includes a role as a Control Room Operator at Imperial Oil from June 2009 to January 2012.

Dan Eagle attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Power engineering. Additionally, they obtained a Business diploma with a focus in Marketing from SAIT. Dan also holds several certifications including a 1st Class Power Engineer certification from ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority, an API 510 certification from the American Petroleum Institute, an Absa in-service inspector certification from ABSA, and a National Board Inservice Inspector certification from The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
