Gary Olson

Gary Olson has over 28 years of experience in the energy and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as Shift Team Lead at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since January 2022. Prior to this role, Gary held various positions at Osum Oil Sands Corp as Shift Engineer since August 2014, and served as Shift Lead at Cenovus Energy starting in August 2011. Gary's earlier career includes roles at Shell from January 2008 to August 2011 as Operator/Shift Lead/Operations Coordinator, and at Weyerhaeuser Pulp and Paper Mill from January 1995 to April 2006 as Operator. Gary holds a 2nd Class Power Engineer certification.
