Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith is an experienced Plant Operator with a diverse background in the energy sector, currently employed at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since August 2020. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at NES Fircroft as a contract Plant Operator, and held various roles at Syncrude Canada Ltd., North West Redwater Partnership, Cenovus Energy, and Nexen, gaining extensive experience in plant operations, maintenance coordination, and process safety. Education includes a degree in Power Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). Jonathan's extensive expertise encompasses mentoring new employees, preparing equipment for maintenance, and adhering to industry safety standards.
