Joseph Simon

Joseph Simon has had a progressive career in the oil and gas industry. From June 2012 to present, they have been working at Strathcona Resources Ltd., starting as an Engineer-in-Training and then advancing to various production engineering roles, including Thermal Production Engineer and Senior Production Engineer. Prior to this, they gained experience as a Relief Operator at Northern Blizzard Resources Inc., Nexen Inc., and also served as a Mining Engineering Intern at PotashCorp.

Joseph Simon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained the certifications in First Aid & CPR/AED Level C from the Canadian Red Cross in June 2022 and H2S Alive from Energy Safety Canada in February 2020.
