Roy Custodio

Roy Custodio has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering industry. Roy is currently working as a Senior Integrity Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd., where they maximize the value of the company's assets and ensures regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, they served as a Team Lead - Facility Engineering and a Senior Facilities Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Strathcona Resources Ltd., Roy worked as a Senior Facilities Engineer at Cona Resources Ltd. for a brief period in 2020.

From 2015 to 2020, Roy worked at Pengrowth Energy Corporation, where they held the positions of Senior Facility Engineer and Facility Engineering Governance Advisor.

Prior to that, they worked at Penn West Exploration from 2008 to 2015, where they served as a Team Lead - Facility Engineering, Advisor - Facility Engineering, and Facilities Engineer.

Roy began their career at Tri Ocean Engineering LTD in 2004, where they worked as a Project Engineer for four years. Roy then joined Enerflex Systems Ltd. in 2000 as a Project Engineer/Project Manager.

From 1993 to 1998, Roy Custodio attended the University of Alberta, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
