Tyler Olson

Tyler Olson is an experienced Shift Lead and Panel Operator at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since January 2023, previously serving as a Plant Operator at Husky Energy from November 2016 to January 2023. At Husky Energy, Tyler excelled in identifying areas for improvement, ensuring safety, and meeting production targets through diligent equipment checks and communication. Prior experience includes roles at Cenovus Energy as a SWAT/3rd Class Power Engineer, where Tyler developed accuracy in permit creation and adherence to safety protocols, and at MEG Energy Corp. as a Power Engineer, contributing to plant turnarounds. Tyler also completed a practicum as a 4th Class Power Engineer with Statoil. Education was completed at Portage College, spanning from 2013 to 2015.
