Mark Lewis

Mark Lewis currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Purdue Applied Research Institute LLC and holds the position of Professor at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. With extensive experience, Mark also contributes as a Board Member for Uplands Science & Technology Foundation and as a Member of the Board of Regents for the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. Additional roles include Expert in Residence at Toffler Associates and Member of the Board of Advisors for Voyager Space. Mark acts as a Technical Advisor for Stratolaunch and serves on the Advisory Council for Boom Supersonic. As a Special Government Employee for the United States Air Force, Mark's academic career includes a long-standing tenure at the University of Maryland, where Mark was previously Professor and Chair and currently holds the title of Professor Emeritus and Affiliated Research Scientist. Mark's educational background features degrees in Aeronautics & Astronautics and Earth & Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
