Stuart Yun

Stuart Yun serves as Chief Engineer at Stratolaunch since October 2019, having previously held roles as Lead Sub-Systems Engineer and Lead Systems Engineer in the same organization. Prior experience includes a position as Design Engineer at Scaled Composites, where Stuart designed, manufactured, and tested mechanical ground and flight control systems for the Stratolaunch air-launch platform. Earlier, at The Spaceship Company, Stuart contributed as a Mechanical Systems Engineer Associate, focusing on SpaceShipTwo’s flight controls and landing gear systems. Academic involvement includes peer tutoring and serving as Chairman to enhance the mechanical engineering department at the University of Texas at Dallas, where Stuart earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2013.
