Bailey Edwards has a strong and diverse work experience in various industries. They started their career at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in 1997 as a Laboratory Assistant, where they worked on constructing a model of a silicon detector and developed schemes for its incorporation into a trigger system. They then joined Palmer Trinity School in 2001 as a Physics Teacher, achieving record high scores for the school on National Science Olympiad examinations and founding the Astronomy Club. In 2004, Bailey became an Academic Tutor at The Lovett School, providing individual assistance to students and teaching SAT math preparation courses. They then interned at Cox Communications in 2007, researching new product opportunities and evaluating business model alternatives. Currently, Bailey holds the position of Vice President at Stratus Properties since 2008, leading a team of analysts and serving as an investment decision adviser to the CEO. In this role, Bailey has managed a real estate portfolio valued at over $600 million and oversaw due diligence for $900 million of real estate transactions.

Bailey Edwards completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. This educational achievement occurred between 2006 and 2008. Earlier, between 1997 and 2001, Bailey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors (Cum Laude) from Rice University, majoring in Physics and Studio Art.
