Oscar Moncada

Oscar Moncada has over 17 years of work experience in the technology sector. Oscar started their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer at Advent Resources, Inc. In 2011, they joined Digitaria, a JWT Company, as a Software Engineer. From 2012-2016, Moncada worked at Events.com, where they held the role of Director of Technology Operations, managing and maintaining all AWS infrastructure, continuous integration, security, deployment and automation aspects of the events.com platform and all legacy applications, as well as mentoring the technology operations team in the US and Canada offices. Oscar also held the role of Sr. Software Engineer at the same company. In 2016, Moncada joined FICO® as a Cloud Engineering - Sr. Engineer. Since 2017, they have been Co-Founder and CEO of Stratus10.

Oscar Moncada has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. From 2006 to 2008, they attended California State University, Long Beach to study Artificial Intelligence. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from Amazon Web Services: AWS Solutions Architect - Professional in 2016, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate in 2015, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate in 2017.
