Jacob Stultz

Jacob Stultz is an accomplished Senior Staff Engineer with extensive experience in service-oriented architecture development, particularly in Scala and Rails applications. At Strava since September 2013, Jacob has held multiple roles, including Platform Architecture Lead and Engineering Manager in Infrastructure. Prior to Strava, Jacob was a Founding Team Member at Tsumobi, Inc., where significant contributions were made to development and operations for a distributed peer-to-peer chat application. Jacob’s earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle Corporation, focusing on XML-based applications, and participating in R&D projects at VMware and SGI. Jacob holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
