Omar Lopez

Omar Lopez has an extensive background in finance and accounting, currently serving in that capacity at Strava since April 2024. Prior to this role, Omar held various positions at Sonder Inc. from June 2019 to April 2024, including Assistant Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Experience also includes accounting work at Timbuk2 from July 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities encompassed GL Accounting, forecasting, AP management, business systems, and treasury functions. Earlier professional experience includes roles at JHS CPAs, LLP as an Accountant focused on audit and assurance, forensic accounting, and corporate taxation from September 2013 to July 2016, as well as a position at Apple and a sponsorship role with the Oakland Raiders. Omar holds a Master’s degree from the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary's College of California and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution.
