At Strawberry Robotics, we are pioneering the future of autonomous agriculture to solve the industry’s most critical bottleneck: the $1.5B harvest labor crisis. Securing our food supply demands more than incremental updates—it requires a physics-first reimagining of automation. Based in California, where over 90% of US strawberries are grown, we build systems with human-level agility that thrive in the realities of the field.
🍓 THE HARDWARE
Conventional robotic arms are too heavy, fragile, and expensive for viable commercial farming. We solved this with our proprietary SHARP (Serial-Parallel Hydrostatic Arm for Robotic Picking) architecture. With four patents pending, this cooperative dual-arm system uses fluid to transmit power, eliminating heavy motors on the arm itself. The result is a field-tough, food-safe, and highly cost-effective system. To scale rapidly, our SHARP arms integrate directly onto proven commercial tractor chassis from our OEM partner, AGROBOT.
🧠 THE AI & SIMULATION
We operate with a "Simulation-First" methodology, de-risking complex robotics using NVIDIA Isaac Sim 6.0 and Isaac Lab. By building physics-accurate digital twins of agricultural fields, we train our AI across thousands of parallel picking episodes utilizing the latest NVIDIA Blackwell architectures. Our AI pipeline leverages Hugging Face frameworks, hybrid a vision backbone, and specialized Transformers to seamlessly translate offline imitation learning into real-world manipulation. We burn compute, not capital, iterating at impossible speeds.
📈 THE ECONOMICS
Through our Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, we turn automation from a massive capital expense into a predictable, immediate cost-saving reality. We mirror existing harvest workflows, picking into standard boxes and requiring zero changes to grower logistics.
Founded by experts in systems engineering and machine learning, we exist to make autonomous harvesting the new standard.
