John Peters

John Peters, P.Eng. MBA, currently serves as the Director of Customer Services at Stream Systems Ltd., overseeing a team that delivers value through engineering and simulation support for the software solution SimOpti. Previously, John held various leadership roles at Detechtion Technologies, including Director of Product Strategy and Director of Business Development, where responsibilities encompassed business development and account management across Canada. John also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, leading teams in Canada and the US to promote Detechtion's SaaS product for natural gas optimization. Earlier career experience includes project management roles at Envirovision Inc. and NOVA Chemicals, managing diverse projects from environmental remediation to large-scale laboratory developments. John holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Calgary.
