Jeff Leek

Jeff Leek has a significant amount of work experience in data science and academia. Jeff is currently the Vice President, Chief Data Officer, and Professor at Fred Hutch, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded Streamline Data Science in March 2021 and was involved in the company until the present time.

Before their involvement with Streamline Data Science, Jeff Leek served as a Professor of Biostatistics and Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Jeff held this position from March 2018 to July 2022. Jeff also had previous roles at Johns Hopkins, including Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Oncology from February 2014 to March 2018, and Assistant Professor of Biostatistics from May 2009 to February 2014.

Additionally, Jeff Leek co-founded Problem Forward Data Science in April 2018 and was part of the company until December 2020. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong background in academia and data science, with a focus on biostatistics and oncology.

Jeff Leek obtained their Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Washington between 2003 and 2007.
