Ullas Naik

Ullas Naik founded Streamlined Ventures with a vision of building a thought-leading investment platform rooted in the philosophical belief that founders of companies are the true heroes of entrepreneurial value creation in society. Streamlined Ventures invests in and supports visionary founders working on transformational applications and software infrastructure companies. Ullas is a seasoned venture capitalist, angel investor, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of entrepreneurial and early-stage investment experience across more than 500 companies. A large number of those companies have gone on to become significant publicly traded companies or were acquired in large outcomes. He was also a co-founder of the investment firm Cota Capital. Prior to founding Streamlined Ventures, Ullas was a senior member of the investment team for 12 years at venture capital firm Globespan Capital and helped build the firm. He has also been an active angel investor over the last 25 years during which he invested in over 100. Before his institutional investment career, Ullas was a top-ranked Wall Street research analyst at FAC Equities/First Albany. He was recognized by the Wall Street Journal and Fortune Magazine as a Wall Street All-Star. Prior to that, Ullas received an MBA degree after starting a chemical trading business in India. He also has a bachelor’s degree in organic chemistry.
