Jin Mu has significant work experience in various engineering roles. Starting in 2005, they worked at Accenture as an Analyst Programmer/Lead, where they managed web-based data governance projects and developed ETL pipelines. From 2017 to 2018, Jin served as the Director of Data Engineering at Okta, Inc. They led the data engineering team, promoted data-driven decision making, and provided data services for business insights and customer success.
Jin then joined Elastic in 2018 as a Director of Engineering, leading Kibana backend and frontend teams. They defined technical vision, drove roadmaps, and facilitated the migration of Kibana plugins to a new platform.
In 2021, Jin became the Director of Engineering at Exabeam, partnering with product management to define roadmaps and strategies for building cloud-native data platforms and applications. They also led cross-functional teams in implementing a single sign-on solution across Exabeam's SaaS products.
Currently, Jin is the Vice President of Engineering at StreamNative, a SaaS company built upon Apache Pulsar. They lead the entire engineering organization, collaborate with various teams, and drive the development of cloud-native distributed data streaming/messaging platforms and services.
