Rui Fu

Rui Fu has extensive work experience in various roles. Most recently, Rui Fu served as a Software Engineer and Apache Pulsar Committer at StreamNative since December 2020. Prior to that, Rui Fu worked at Tsinghua University as a Platform Architect at the Energy Internet Research Institute from June 2016 to December 2020. Rui Fu also has experience as a Co-Founder and Tech Lead at Jimi Data, where they built the backend and Android client from scratch and developed a stable and scalable backend system with Docker. Additionally, Rui Fu worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Computer Science and Technology of Peking University, where they built a DASH system and network simulator for benchmarking algorithms. Rui Fu has also worked as an Engineer at Richfit Information Technology Co., Ltd. and as a Software Engineer at Siloon Software Outsourcing Ltd.

Rui Fu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at The University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a MPhil in Innovative Technologies Leadership at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2013 to 2015, specializing in the field of Computer Science.
