Ross Steele

Ross Steele is a passionate Senior Software Engineer at Street Group, based in Stoke-on-Trent. They gained a solid foundation in programming through self-directed learning and practical experience, progressing from a Grill Chef to a website developer and ultimately into senior software engineering roles. At Street Group, they focus on building and maintaining client websites using technologies like Laravel, VueJS, Redis, and SocketIO, while also mentoring others and fostering collaboration within the team. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Staff Developer at Huler, where they played a key role in aligning projects with organizational and client goals, and provided mentorship to colleagues across various roles. Ross holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Derby.
