Fred Chang has a diverse work experience. Fred started their career as a Policy & Planning Intern at the City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Transportation Engineering & Planning Intern at Iteris, Inc. Fred then became a Transportation Planner at the same company from 2016 to 2017. In 2019, they joined StreetLight Data as a Software Engineer Intern. Currently, they are working at StreetLight as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2020.
Fred Chang's education history begins with their attendance at the Western Academy of Beijing from 2001 to 2008. Fred then attended the International School of Beijing from 2008 to 2012. Following this, Chang pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Policy, Planning, and Development with a minor in Architecture at the University of Southern California, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Chang obtained a Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
