Eric Burka

Managing Principal at Streetsense

Eric Burka is the managing principal at Streetsense, a company they co-founded in 2002. Prior to that, they were CEO of Burka Studios Media Productions, a position they held for ten years. Before that, they were vice president of Internet operations at eLink.

Burka began their career in 1992 as an assistant producer for Entertainment Tonight and John Tesh and Leeza Gibbons Live from Hollywood. Eric then moved to Paramount Studios where they worked as an assistant producer before joining Magnet Interactive in 1994 as a producer. At Magnet, they produced interactive media ranging from live action video integrated into CD ROM's to working on some of the first brand websites, including Kelloggs.com, matchboxtoys.com, and HaagenDazs.com.

In 1996, Burka joined PGI as director of interactive, starting the company's interactive division and focusing on bringing event and tradeshows online. Eric left PGI in 1998 to join iXL as an account executive, overseeing clients such as AOL, Discovery, and numerous dot coms. Eric left iXL in 2000 to join eLink as vice president of Internet operations.

In 2001, Burka founded Burka Studios Media Productions, where they served as CEO until 2011 when they co-founded Streetsense.

Eric Burka has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Arizona State University and a High School Diploma from Walt Whitman High School.

They are on a team with Chris Delucchi - Managing Principal & Chief Growth Officer, Michael D. Smith - Director of Real Estate, and Alex Crawford - Director, Interior Architecture. Their manager is Brian Taff, CEO.
