Michael D. Smith

Mike Smith is the Director of Real Estate, bringing nearly 25 years of industry experience and a successful track record in design, development, leasing, and management of landmark, urban retail destinations. Mike applies his expertise to advise clients every step of the way, including site analysis, strategy, execution, and leasing. Projects include the market district at The Wharf, the repositioning of The Collection at Chevy Chase and the redevelopment of the historic former Walter Reed campus. Prior to joining Streetsense, he was Vice President of Development for Williams Jackson Ewing, where he managed the company’s design, development and leasing efforts, including CityCenterDC. He holds a real estate license in DC and Maryland, and has previously served on ULI’s Baltimore Board of Directors and the City of Baltimore’s Lexington Market Task Force.
