Tom de Coster

Tom De Coster is a legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and technology. Currently serving as Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property and Technology practice at Strelia since September 2025, Tom has also held various roles such as Managing Associate at Linklaters and member of the Editorial Board at Jubel since 2017. Tom actively participates in the VRG-Alumni as a board member and has represented the IP committee at the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union from 2017 to 2025. In addition to practical experience, Tom has a robust educational background, holding multiple Master of Laws degrees, including an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and specialties in Intellectual Property Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel. Teaching experience includes a position as a Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven, where Tom guided law students in case analysis.
