Ehsan Mostaed, Ph.D., P.E., is a senior failure analysis engineer and metallurgical engineer with a strong focus on alloy design, thermomechanical processing, and metallurgical characterization of high-performance materials. Ehsan's previous roles include postdoctoral researcher at Michigan Technological University and Politecnico di Milano, as well as materials scientist at Uniformity Labs, Inc. Currently, they are a senior metallurgist at Stress Engineering Services, Inc., while serving as a senior associate at Exponent starting in 2022. Ehsan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, graduating cum laude, and holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering with distinction from Iran University of Science and Technology.
