Jim Chen

Jim Chen has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Jim worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Stretto, where they were involved in designing and implementing modules for the CaseLink Web project. Jim also led a small group in creating a report tool using Aspose Words.

Prior to that, Jim worked at Capita Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead. Jim worked on various projects, including the Client and Asset Management System (CAMS) project, a large-scale web application used by several LA county departments for estate administration and conservatorship services.

Before Capita Technologies, Jim worked at Optum Software, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and implementing modules for a Client-Server application. Jim also worked at Vantage Consulting Service as a Software Engineer, where they analyzed, designed, and implemented a database management system using MS Access and Visual Basic.

Jim Chen has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach, which they obtained from 1996 to 1997. Jim also studied Computer Science at Irvine Valley College in 1995. Jim Chen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Scientific Instrument Engineering from Xiamen University. In addition, they have a certification as a Sun Certified Java 2 Platform Programmer from Sun Microsystems, obtained in 2001.
