Robert Ulene has a solid background in network engineering and consultancy. Robert worked as a Network Engineer/Consultant at BetterBytes, Inc. from 2005 to 2010, where they successfully merged three school networks into one centralized network. Prior to that, they were a Network Engineer at Winsoft, Inc. from 2001 to 2005, where they worked closely with Gateway sales representatives to consult with clients and implement network solutions. From 1996 to 2000, Ulene served as a Service Manager at Laptop Solutions, Inc., overseeing the service department operations and managing a team of technicians. Robert also had roles at Tactical IT as a Network Engineer/Consultant/Network Administrator, and at Stretto as the Technical Support Director.

Robert Ulene attended several educational institutions throughout their career. In 1983, they enrolled in Orange Coast College and studied Business until 1988. In 1992, they briefly attended the Computer Learning Center to pursue Computer Programming. In 1996, Ulene joined the Software Education of America to focus on MCP, MCP+I, MCSE, MCT, and CompTIA A+ certifications. In 2004, they attended Irvine Valley College to receive training in Cisco CCNA, Web Design, and Java. Lastly, in 2011 and 2012, Ulene took Advanced Technology Training Classes at Coastline Community College.
