Charles Forrest Smith

Charles Forrest Smith, Ed.S, has extensive experience in educational leadership, serving as the Executive Director of Arizona Virtual Academy with Stride, Inc. since August 2016 and previously holding roles such as Senior Director of Customer Experience and Retention, where efforts focused on customer retention across over 80 schools. Prior to this, Charles served as Head of School and Academic Administrator at Texas Online Prep and as Assistant Principal/Interim Principal at Premier Learning Academy. Academic experience includes a position as Visiting Professor of English at Kyungpook National University and owner/principal of an English Language Learning Academy. Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Southeastern University, a Master of Liberal Arts in Literature from Fort Hays State University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Principalship from Lamar University, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Fort Hays State University.
