Heather Alfaro

Heather Alfaro currently serves as the Talent Development Manager at Stride, Inc., a position held since July 2020, following roles as Talent Development Specialist and Instructional Designer within the same organization. Prior to Stride, Alfaro accumulated three years of experience at VIPKid as an English Second Language Teacher, Mock Class Mentor, and Curriculum Developer. Earlier professional experience includes founding Arbor Vitae Academy, serving as KTIP Resource Teacher for the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board, and various roles at Capital Day School, including Academic Team Coach and Middle School Head. Alfaro holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Reading and Writing (P-12) from the University of the Cumberlands, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Georgetown College.
