Liz Leger

Liz Leger is an experienced education and community leader with a diverse background in teaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as a City Council Member in Coolidge, GA, since January 2022, Liz also holds the position of Career Learning Coordinator at Stride, Inc., as well as Student Support Administrator at Alabama Destinations Career Academy. Previously, Liz worked as the Family Academic Support Team Lead at Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy and taught at both Zachary Community Schools and Thomasville City Schools. A veteran educator, Liz spent six years teaching at Thomas County Schools. Liz obtained a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Valdosta State University.
