Michael Aquilino

Michael Aquilino is a seasoned Linux Engineer with extensive experience in managing and supporting complex Linux environments across various industries. Currently at Stride, Inc. since April 2015, Michael plays a pivotal role in supporting multiple scrum development teams by overseeing QA, staging, performance, and production deployments, as well as aiding in AWS migrations and CI/CD process automation. Previous roles include Linux System Administrator at CGI and REI Systems, where Michael focused on troubleshooting and code deployments across numerous Linux VMs and government contracts. Earlier career experience as a System Administrator at Fugro and a Technical Lead at EarthData International provided foundational skills in managing supercomputing environments and analyzing radar imagery. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from James Madison University.
