Michelle Howard-Schwind, PhD, is an experienced education professional currently serving as a School Administrator at Stride, Inc. since May 2023, while also working as an Educational Consultant and Grant Writer for MHS Educational Consultants since July 2020. Previously, Michelle held various significant roles, including Director of Clinical Practice at the University of North Texas at Dallas, School Superintendent at Italy ISD, and Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning at DESOTO ISD. Michelle's dedication to continuous improvement in education is exemplified through volunteer efforts as a Baldrige Examiner with the Quality Texas Foundation, along with an impactful career in curriculum development and teaching at institutions such as American College of Education and Robstown ISD. Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas, complemented by a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin.
