Susan Cox

Susan Cox is an experienced educator specializing in Chinese language and social studies with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Teacher at Stride, Inc. since August 2023, Susan previously held the position of Resource Teacher in the World Languages Office at Fairfax County Public Schools from 2011 to July 2023, where responsibilities included supporting curriculum development and professional development for language educators. As a Chinese Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools and Virtual Virginia, Susan delivered instruction and facilitated curriculum improvements that enhanced student language skills. Additionally, experience includes managing the AVID program at Lewis High School. Susan holds a Master's degree in East Asian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies and Economics from Wittenberg University.
