Tami Romo

Tami Romo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, operations, and customer success. Currently serving as a STEP Teacher at Stride, Inc. since June 2023, Tami previously held roles such as Operations Coordinator at SimplyHR, Inc., and Customer Success Manager at OK2Charge, where responsibilities included building a network of smart charging stations to promote clean energy. Additional experience encompasses teaching at Catapult Learning and Galesburg CUSD 205, partner success roles at Expedia Group and ApartmentJet, and various logistics positions during Tami's tenure in the US Army, where significant achievements included saving over $100 million by identifying systematic fraud. Tami holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor of Science in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education from Illinois State University, and a Master's in Public Administration from Columbus State University.
