David Parker is the Director of Japan Strategy at Strider Technologies and a PhD candidate at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS). They served as a Senior Associate (Non-Resident) with the Economics Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) from 2012 to 2017. Previously, they were a Senior Analyst in International Economic Affairs at Aflac from 2017 to 2022. Currently, they are the Vice Chair of the Economic Security Task Force at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan. David is fluent in both English and Japanese.
