Paul Maddison

Paul Maddison is currently the Australia Country Manager at Strider Technologies, where they lead the implementation of the go-to-market strategy and manage partnerships with Australian universities, government agencies, and industry stakeholders. In addition, Maddison serves as a member of the Group of Eight Defence & Security Committee and holds advisory roles at MAG Aerospace and Strider Technologies. Previously, they were the Director of the UNSW Defence Research Institute and served as the Canadian High Commissioner to Australia. With a background commanding the Royal Canadian Navy, Maddison has also contributed to various organizations, including the International Military Council on Climate and Security and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. Originally from Canada, Australia has become their home.
