Takashi ITO

Takashi Ito is the Deputy Executive Director at the DENTSU SOKEN Center for Economic Security Research and serves as an advisor to TMI Associates. They have extensive experience in the semiconductor industry at Mitsubishi Electric, focusing on industry restructuring, M&A, and international legal issues. Takashi was seconded to the Japan Business Federation from 1995 for two years, working to bridge understanding between European and Japanese business sectors. Since 2020, they have established an economic security department within a private company, developing risk management processes and sharing their expertise through media and symposiums. Takashi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Keio University, completed in 1986.
