Matthew Wright

Matthew Wright is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Strike Energy since January 2020. Previously, Matthew held various positions at Baker Hughes from February 2007 to January 2020, including Lead Geoscientist, where responsibilities included wireline and logging while drilling geoscience. Matthew's expertise encompasses drilling practices, resistivity processing, acoustics, log interpretation, petrophysics, and geosteering, among other areas. Matthew's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Geology from Curtin University, and prior to this, Matthew completed education at Rockingham Senior High School.
