Andrew Lawrence

Founder & CEO at Strike Protocols

Andrew hails from over 30 years of institutional capital markets experience. He started his career as a market maker on Wall Street, running dealing books in fixed-income derivatives and structured credit at Drexel Burnham Lambert and Greenwich Capital Markets. Following that, he ran a prop trading book and managed principal positions for Bankers Trust. Andrew then went on to found his first hedge fund, Rubicon Capital Management. In 1999, he founded Longitude, an early fintech company that created an innovative derivatives trading platform based upon proprietary market structures. Subsequently, he partnered with Goldman, Deutsche, and NYMEX, leading Longitude to a successful acquisition by the International Securities Exchange in 2005. Prior to founding Strike, he was a partner at Pantera Capital Management. Andrew was educated at M.I.T. and the Wharton School.
