Amal G Padath has over 18 years of work experience in the bioprocess engineering field. In 2003, they founded and became the Secretary of Jayam Educational Ventures, a franchise mode educational venture. In 2006, they took on a Project Trainee role at Sartorius, where they were trained in bioprocess operations and gained hands-on experience in IQ, OQ, and PQ. In 2008, they worked as a Bioprocess Engineer (On Job Trainee) at BiOZEEN, where they acquired knowledge in animal cell culture, batch fermentation, upstream processing, downstream processing, chromatography, and filtration. From 2009 to 2013, they were the Process Lead & Bioprocess Technical Officer at ABL Biotechnologies Ltd., where they led local site bioprocess projects, provided process engineering support, and modified control systems of biological processes. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Process Specialist and LEAN Excellence Project Manager at Novozymes, where they led India Lean implementation, supported process improvement projects, and ensured products were produced according to specification. Since 2019, they have been the Senior Engineer - Commissioning & Qualification at Hyde Engineering + Consulting, where they lead and supports continuous improvement, develops risk assessments, and executes commissioning and validation of process systems. Currently, they are the Engineering Project Manager at String Bio Private Limited, where they support and leads end-to-end upcoming commercial production facilities of String campus in India and abroad.

Amal G Padath's education history includes a B.Tech in Industrial Biotechnology from Anna University from 2002 to 2006, and a PGDIBI in Bioinformatics from Bioinformatics Institute of India (BII) from 2004 to 2005. In addition, Amal has obtained a number of certifications, including a Honouring Heroes Award / Exceptional Flood Relief Initiative - Bangalore Connect from Media One in September 2018, a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from VarSigma Consulting in December 2017, and a Regional President's Award - Best Employee & Performer from Novozymes in January 2016.
