Lindsay Stewart is the CEO and co-founder of Stringr, a media company that provides on-demand video content to news organizations. Stewart has over 15 years of experience in television news, producing for various networks including CBS, Fox News, Bloomberg Television, and KNBC.
Stewart got their start in television news at KTNV in Las Vegas, where they produced special projects and investigative stories. Lindsay then moved to KNBC in Los Angeles, where they produced segments for the station's tech show Bloomberg West. In 2012, Stewart joined CBS News as a producer, focusing on in-depth and investigative stories.
In April 2013, Stewart left CBS News to start Stringr with co-founder Ed Hall. Stringr allows news organizations to request and purchase video content from a network of over 10,000 videographers in real-time. The company has raised over $17 million in funding and works with major news outlets such as CNN, NBC News, and The Wall Street Journal.
Lindsay Stewart has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Wharton School and a BA in English from University of California, Berkeley. Lindsay also went to Pinewood School.
